A prolific industry commentator within the finance and renewable energy markets, Adam left a City investor relations firm to found The Tamarindo Group, in 2010.
The Tamarindo Group includes Tamarindo Communications, a strategic PR and communications advisory and Tamarindo Networks, a global membership platform that incorporates the A Word About Wind and Energy Storage Report media brands.
A regular and active participant on the conference circuit, Adam plays a key role in the strategic development of Tamarindo Group.
With 15 years in agency corporate public relations, Roland has worked with, and advised, some of the largest global businesses operating in markets around the world.
Roland’s experience in public relations enables him to create campaigns that allow businesses to protect their reputations, carve a niche in crowded market places, and provide discernible returns on investment.
Overseeing the team at Tamarindo Communications, and working across a range of renewable energy clients, Roland takes overall responsibility for developing and delivering focused campaigns that provide real commercial cut-through and engagement.
Gemma has worked in the communications industry for nearly 15 years in both a b2b and b2c capacity leading teams to deliver intelligent and effective communications campaigns for big name clients. Having spent over a decade honing her skills within London agencies, Gemma joined Tamarindo at the beginning of 2019.
In her role as Client Services Director, Gemma looks after a roster of clients with a focus on technology and innovation and is a member of the Senior Management Team.
With an enthusiastic and unrelenting ‘can do’ attitude, Gemma works with businesses to craft core messaging, uncover key business stories and build a communications campaign that, not only raises awareness and builds brand profile, but supports and drives the commercial goals of the business.
Away from her desk, Gemma can be found boxing, reading a book or running around after her twin boys.
Andy has worked in communications for 20 years and with renewables and clean tech businesses since 2005.
As Head of Communications for Tidal Lagoon Power he built out the social, economic and political case for a new form of scale renewable generation. Results included a world-first planning permission, nine-figure investment commitments from the private and public sectors, and widespread political support across all major parties.
Before that he established a dedicated clean energy strategic communications team at FTI Consulting, helping to launch and grow a large number of global decarbonisation ventures.
Outside of work and parenthood he is an increasingly frustrated footballer and writer.
Richard is a long-suffering member of the Tamarindo team, having joined on the Graduate Programme in 2013, following a four-year French and German degree at the University of Oxford.
Since then, Richard has delivered consistent, high quality media coverage and messaging advice across his retained client portfolio, which spans the global renewable energy and maritime sectors.
He specialises in the development and review of compelling editorial content – a skill that has come in handy during the execution of high impact PR and marketing campaigns.
Richard is often unfairly lampooned for his appreciation of the lesser-known Dutch sport of Korfball.
With over a decade in PR and communications, Nikolai has honed his capabilities across multiple sectors, including tech, entertainment, leisure, telecoms, FMCG, property and retail.

Lisa joined Tamarindo in April 2021 from a brand marketing role in a maritime intelligence firm.
Her PR career to date has focused around commercial maritime, marine fuels, and a range of physical and digital technologies within the shipping sector. Continuing in kind, Lisa supports our clients in the maritime sector as well as those in renewable energy, delivering press activity, media relations, and campaign management.
Lisa’s life outside of work is a runaway train of rock music, skiing and salsa dancing, with brief interludes for befriending passing dogs in the street.
Luke joined Tamarindo Group in 2019 as a graduate with a Political Science and Philosophy degree from the University of Birmingham.
With a keen interest in business writing, Luke has refined his communications and copywriting skills, working across accounts in the maritime, renewable and offshore energy spheres.
When Luke is not drafting hard-hitting content for clients, you can find him digging through dusty crates in trendy record shops.
Jack joined Tamarindo in 2021 after having completed a BA in International Relations and MSc in Political Science from the London School of Economics.
Jack is driven by helping businesses across the renewables sector to think critically about their strategic communications, and he has confidently directed their media relations activity to better align with their commercial objectives.
Jack has previously worked for Non-Governmental Organisations in Greece and Lebanon, and when he isn’t working, he enjoys travelling, reading and politics, and trying to stay fit.
Laurence joined Tamarindo in 2021 after graduating with a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Oxford. As an Account Executive, he is involved in the day-to-day mix of media relations, internal administration, and copywriting.
Having previously managed communications for his family's edible insect farming business, and with internships in web design and the maritime industry under his belt, his interest in agricultural sustainability naturally brought him to renewable energy.
When he isn't eating wriggly things or weeping over Shakespeare, Laurence likes to compose for and play the acoustic guitar, write historical fiction, and (somewhat successfully) play pool.
With a degree in Physics from the University of Oxford and a wide range of experience across graphic, digital and information design, Sam brings both critical and creative thinking to the Tamarindo team.
Heading up Tamarindo’s focused in-house design and development capacity, he enables the team to deliver engaging stories and user experiences more effectively and purposefully.
Outside of work, Sam is generally found running, cycling or hiking up remote hills.
With a degree in English Literature from the University of Exeter and a background in 2D digital design Rachael has experience in retail marketing and freelance design.
Rachael’s passion for creating original artwork has seen her work on a variety of marketing campaigns. As an addition to the Design Team at Tamarindo, she is keen to apply her creative eye across print and digital media to create visual elements that engage customers and deliver messages effectively.
When not drawing, you’ll find Rachael carving something out of wood or experimenting with new flavours in the kitchen.
Richard has worked in business writing since 2005 and is a well-respected editor and commentator on all aspects of the global energy transition.
Since joining Tamarindo Group in 2014, Richard’s role has grown and he is now the company’s editorial and content lead. This involves heading the group’s content and copywriting division; acting as editor-in-chief of media brands A Word About Wind and Energy Storage Report; and leading Tamarindo's Power List reports.
He also heads the content side of Tamarindo’s Financing Wind conferences and Watt Seat webinar series; and loves helping clients to solve their content challenges.
Outside work, Richard likes gardening, classic literature, and coaching his daughters’ youth football teams. He is also passionate about good mental health in and out of the workplace.
Ben is an experienced editor, journalist and copywriter.
He has worked as a writer and contributor for national newspapers, including The Guardian and The Times. He also spent six years as the Madrid-based editor of a legal magazine and website, and previously worked as chief editor for a Paris-based legal and financial ratings agency. He has also worked as a copywriter for Oxford University Press, as well as clients in the legal, financial and property sectors.
A Fulham FC fanatic, Ben has written for the club’s fanzine and, during one glorious season, followed the team round most of Europe.
Josh joined Tamarindo Group in January 2021. He has enjoyed a varied career to date involving a breadth of commercial, accounting and finance roles in several different businesses and sectors.
Josh oversees all financial operations in the business and is especially driven towards making operational efficiencies, through automation and streamlining, wherever possible.
He holds an MBA in Global Financial Services, a BSc in Ecology and is currently undertaking the CIMA qualification at management & strategic level .Outside of work, Josh is also a passionate nature-lover, with a keen interest in wildlife conservation and how technology can enable us to live more sustainably.
A recent graduate from Oxford Brookes University where he pursued a master in Finance, Michele joined Tamarindo Group in August 2021 after exploring different career paths involving sales, fraud prevention and service industries.
After playing football for ten years, Michele cannot spend a single day without talking about or watching the beautiful game. As a proper Italian, he enjoys cooking and socialising, he works out daily and is always ready to travel around the world.
