Adam is the Managing Director of The Tamarindo Group. He is a Director of Tamarindo Communications and Publisher of A Word About Wind.

For the past thirteen years he has worked throughout the financial services and energy investment space, enabling individuals and companies to build and protect their business and brands.

An expert in clean energy corporate communications strategy, Adam has worked in the City across a range of specialisms, including reputation management, PR, stakeholder engagement, employee communications and crisis communications.

María joined Tamarindo Group in 2016, working closely with the MD to provide administrative support. Alongside her office management tasks, Maria offers support to the marketing and sales teams – working with them on various accounts.

A native Spanish speaker, María completed a number of internships and volunteering in Spain, before moving to the UK to hone her skills as a PR & communications professional.

With excellent organisational skills and previous experience within the Oxford University Hospitals-NHS Foundation Trust, María thrives on making processes more efficient and effective.

Having spent three years at Burson-Marsteller in Geneva, delivering corporate communications and reputation consultancy to multi-national corporations and international organisations, Sam now takes the lead on a number of high growth Tamarindo accounts.

Sam has a strong background in consumer and business research, as well as multidisciplinary sector experience, including significant work throughout the international commodities space. Sam brings this experience to bear for clients, to deliver and execute successful social, digital and traditional media campaigns that build corporate reputation.

A former editor and digital-business journalist, Dan Ilett is non-executive director at Tamarindo Communications. He actively advises companies in the financial services, technology, media, energy, publishing and asset management markets.

Over the past fifteen years, Dan has worked on transformation, cost-cutting, risk-management and portfolio projects. Having started his career as a Japanese-speaking, Cisco network engineer for NTT, providing first and second-level IT and telecommunications support to Japanese banks, Dan moved into publishing and then strategic consulting.

At Tamarindo Communications he has actively advised the senior team on business strategy and support since company inception.

His Barcelona-based independent consultancy publishes a weekly newsletter called Energy Storage Report, dedicated to the energy storage industry, and is the director of the editorial services agency Jason Deign Associates.

Working alongside Adam and Dan he has actively advised the senior team on business strategy and editorial support for a number of years.
